September 22, 1967-June 29, 2018
Brent Alexander was born in Calgary and suddenly passed away on June 29, at the age of 50.
Brent is survived by his son Colton Gillich, daughter Ali Rondeau, father Roy Patriquin (Joyce), sister Trina (Terry) Broderson, nephew Jared Broderson, and niece Jayden Broderson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brent was pre deceased by his mother Alice Patriquin.
Brent completed all his schooling in Claresholm and then worked many years at Trust-Joist until they closed. Even through his bad health he did many odd jobs for many people.
Brent’s passion in life was spending unending hours in the Foothills in many secret places, fishing, hunting and just enjoying the outdoor life. This was his happy place!
Unfortunately due to deteriorating health, these trips became less and less. His last big hunt was October 2015, where he and his son Colton “tagged” THE BIG ONE!!
Despite struggling with kidney failure and other health issues, Brent could still be seen around town with a smile on his face and willing to help whenever needed. His great strength and compassion for life will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
There will be a private celebration of life. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation. www.kidney.ca
